It's been said enough on the whole thing - so many valid aspects addressed by us all. Still, the question stays: what was the point of this last season?
Addressing - on the surface - the issue of "coming-out-of-the-closet" without a final solution seems off. Garam's supposedly deep rooted trauma magically cured by Jaehyuk phisically distancing himself from him sounds stupid. Garam realizing his feelings towards Jaehyuk once the realization strikes him the latter is no more around - oh, please! What is Garam's apology for his immature behaviour worth if it's only meant to keep access to Jaehyuk? Where is Garam's character development? Has he overcome his fears from the past? Has he accepted his dear self as gay? Has he realized he needs Jaehyuk no less than the other way round?
Their relationship as a whole seems to me anything but convincing. Yes, they've got together, will it last though, with all the issues unsolved? I doubt. Even if the coming chapter Garam announces to all the world he's gay and in a relationship - well, I wouldn't comment on that. The story is already ruined, no need to kill it further.
The only consistency I see concerns Jaehyuk's parents: no matter his mother's nature, she - the same as his father - dearly loves him. Their initial shock upon finding out their son to switch his sexual orientation was only that, the mere shock. If his parents didn't love him, Jaehyuk would have been long stripped off of all he'd inherit some day, for all his bold behaviour prior to this webtoon's story. Sticking to their own flesh and blood was to be expected - thank you, author, for not ruining that expectation.
