While I'm happy that japanese people are so proud of their own clothing, I find it a bit wack that in these mangas they always act like japanese things (clothing, food, etc.) Is always better and more refined, while old medieval/european things are more seen as the opposite 

I know this is fiction, but idk, it still seems insensitive
