Fair enough he was mulipulated by  that blonde woma, but as soon as his brother, that he loves so much, told him over and over and over that he hated te situation he was in, he should have believed him instead of locking him into a guilt powered he**. What, he never thought to check in on his brother over all these years? Didnt need to be in person, letters asking for updates something. No charcaters is perfect but my g** he was selfish. Its that "im usless" type of charcater. The same type that a sister who pretends to be helpless just to steal her fiance type character. Thats who he is.
