You're all just using it as a way to absolve him of taking accountability without understanding the full extent of what he actually did to him. Why is it that the abuse inflicted on Jaekyung is prioritised more than the abuse he inflicted onto dan?. especially since these two truths can exist: he can be a product of his upbringing while still condemning his current action as its own thing. Trauma is an explanation, not an excuse - also, is him not being 'conscious' a way of infantilising him to remove a part he had in his own actions?. just asking
