Would hate to say this but from a logical pov the ex fiance is better than his ex bf. Mc knows fiance longer than ml and he even pointed out the pros and cons btw them. He might turn out evil but rn we still don't know. Although I prefer the ml, I just hate when the comments are illogical and misogynistic(female experiences and logic in omegaverse)

@Ffeeeff Sry, but I don't think Oto knows his ex fiance well. The fiance himself said in this chapter that he just visited him occasionally. I doubt that such rare and fleeting meetings would result in a friendship or an understanding relationship. And you can't forget that before the pregnancy Oto and the ml lived together for a month so at this point they could know the others had/good habits (contra to the ex fiance).
There is also the thing with Oto not sharing his worries be it to the ex fiance or the ml.
But I must say that even though we don't share the same opinion on the characters knowing each other I like your way of thinking logical about the childcare aspect
@Ffeeeff tbh....no, oto knows shuga who is so.eone oto chose for himself much more than the ex fiance who oto's family chose just bcs of the family background. They both are financially stable. The child is shuga's child. And most of all it is that shuga will finish school it's not like he will stay as a student forever? I feel like that's a selfish thing to say! Only one point stands to the fiance it is that the fiancé's family are more willing than shuga's family right now
