Nah this story arc is really good and developing something more interesting than a lot of other arcs, the problem was the previous two arcs deviating from the webcomic so much and bloating the story with pointless marvel-style slop. The artist didn't know what to do with it so he kept rewriting and redrawing just to go back to the webcomic and it wasted so much time.
The anime being bought by people who don't care at all and just want to make 90% profit is even more devastating to the popularity decrease of this ip.
