Hmmm, I wonder if the wolf tribe is where only Alpha is super buff one (and strong). It appears his older brother was a leader and for some reason he loss his spot and became weaker and thin.

@Aho no Matey his brother became weak because of the curse, every time he exerts himself he becomes weaker.

Cailian was originally a living seal on whom curse of the whole clan was concentrated. They only get benefits and no drawbacks.
Until his older took that curse (not completely) upon himself to give cailan a chances to live a life. His current condition is due to him not being a proper seal and still taking it upon himself.
