For a woman who's well versed in numbers and research... She can be stupid when the writer has to huh? She's too intelligent to be dumb for one act and it breaks your immersion with the story. The guy acted a little dumb at the start, so him acting dumb a lot of time doesn't mean much but the woman is another story.

@PingPangPung I would like to introduce you to a concept known as real life. In real life when you talk to really smart people about the things they know its a flow of knowledge but like everyone else they are human and have flaws like social anxiety, being bad at form speach, fumbling when talking to the opposite s**, etc. Clearly her personality is business and statistics, shes great at but she cant keep secrets, drinks too hard when stressed, and probably a bit of an over sharer
