she's an abuse victim, who has had to endure two lifetimes of torment, asking her to 'stand up for herself' is so dumb and the reason many abuse victims and people who have trauma decide not to speak up and keep it to themselves is because of ignorant people who think that it's so easy to recover from being abused.
If you want a story that doesn't have some realism to watch a cartoon.
