From what I can gather, she has to be focused on a person to see their future, Angela was a hypocrite, the kid is still going to destroy the kingdom and if he doesn't become king, the country would be left broken and weakened leading to either other countries coming to take their piece of the pie or just becoming a perpetual warzone. The needs of the many out way the needs of the few. Killing the child would lead to a better country.

@The qu except from what we've seen Elstri's prophecies aren't set in stone and are subject to change. She had no idea idea that Arkos would die, or that their mission would be fubar. She, originally, saw they would kill Julian's baby sister. Even if Angvall or Julian don't know her prophecies aren't 100% accurate, we know that they aren't. Ultimately their actions in protecting their loved ones is beyond validated.

Surely there were methods that could've been taken that wouldnt have ended in anyone's death, it's like killing all the gorilla's in a jungle because they COULD kill someone in the future. It's over reacting.
