I don't know why this is so popular. It's just a bunch of overused tropes: happy naive boy (he acts a little bit childish for a working man, more like a high schooler), older and bigger love interest with no relationship skills (it's not reaction of a guy with dating experience, be honest) and rushed love triangle story.
