When she was dying, she questioned why she chose revenge (we don't know what it was lol we were jumping chapters) and that ultimately, she realized she genuinely loved Louis, that him being born, made her very happy.
After Liliana was defeated, Louis was still allowed to stay in his palace since he was still a prince and the emperor's son. However, no one wanted to work in his palace, making it so desolate. Only Mi (idk who that is either), who helped reveal the truth about Luana's birth, was the only one there with him. Eventually, the two left the palace on their own accord, not even taking the money allocated for him and his palace.
