In the raws, when he thinks of karlyle's smiling face he says "I have seen many beautiful things in my life, but this is the most beautiful of all" remembering Karlyle's expressions and how he slowly opened up to him. Also, if I'm not mistaken when he remembers them having s** he says " if I were his lover I would have marked him all over" ... some corrections, might be wrong but I think that's what the raws said
