I gotta recomment because I was wrong. The mc has a reason to be selfish here and there's character development. At first I didn't really like him but he turned out so intelligent and wonderful. Never judge.

@Bl reader I thought the same too but I didn't think mc was selfish because he gave all his food to the ml and didn't eat throughout
