@Vincent in one of the initial chapters when MC met his master (fire king) for the first time, I remember MC saw the lvl of his master as 1 and his master immediately identified MC used an unknown power on him. isn't it because those with higher combat lvl can mask their strength? further more, MC's qi sense just shows the information his senses can percive.
