Why do breakups always happen at the worst possible time? I know there's never really a good time for that kind of thing, but the timing always feels so off.
Like just now—literally minutes ago—I got a message from my partner saying she wants to end things. And it’s the night before my final exams.
I was just taking a break from reviewing. I’ve been studying for hours, trying to keep my brain from melting, and suddenly I get that kind of message. Why now?
@Aren't they cool? I asked her if we could talk after finals. I need time to clear my head and be in the right state of mind to even have that conversation. I really don’t think I can handle it right now.
She hasn’t replied yet.
I’m so mentally exhausted. And I didn’t want to bother my friends because we’re all stressing over finals. I don’t want to be a bad friend and dump this on them when they’re just trying to survive too.
@Aren't they cool? So yeah. I’m here, venting. Just needed to let it out somewhere.
And before anyone asks why I’m not focusing on studying—this is my break. I’ve been reviewing for a week already. I’m just re-reading to make sure I don’t forget stuff. I swear I’m not slacking off.
Sorry for the emotional baggage. I just really needed to breathe for a sec.
