Ok so we got a few things going on...
1. The Crown Prince is a Psychopath
2. He feels some type of "affection" or attachment to the Commander. Not real love, all possession. The Commander is his toy and property. It's almost like the relationship between a kid and his pet but the kid is a psychopath so he likes to see how much he can take before breaking.
3. The Commander is strong and prideful.
4. The Crown Prince is attracted to that but tortures him more and more to see how much degradation he can take and still not break.
5. The commander used to hold sincere affection for the CP but that is gone. He hates him now.
6. The Crown Prince misses the way the Commander called his name with affection.
7. The Commander will never say his name that way again and a part of him safeholds that time they had together...giving in to him and calling him by name would taint the memory of how he felt back then
This is terrible and I might prefer death over this type of treatment.
