engineers have a sc*** loose in their head, speaking out of experience. if you ever befriend one, just know that they have a humor only other engineers understand

It’s true engineers have a sense of humor that most non technical people will not be able to understand (but many professions requiring specialized degrees have similar “inside” jokes like lawyers and accountants), but to go as far as to claim every engineer is eccentric just because of that makes it hard to trust you. I interact with quite a few engineers. Some are indeed eccentric as movie villains make them out to be, but most I’ve met just have a different way to see and process life events (it’s called the analytical mindset)

@Random commenter lmao its just a joke? i guess no one found it funny... my dad's an engineer, i'm an engineer, a good number of my cousins are engineers, my brother-in-law is also an engineer, i spent 4 years in college with a number of engineers and soon-to-be engineers, worked for years with engineers, took numerous lessons related to engineering field and met quite a lot of people. trust me no one has seen as much as engineers as me in life (unless its another engineer). i'm not saying they're crazy people incapable of living in society or the worsf bunch. just don't tap THAT corner of their brain. they'll leave you baffled
