@Dictator it's obvious, he literally talks about blacking out and not remembering kicking people's butts, so yeah, it's obvious

He actually has traumatic anemia which blocked his past version and the current version.
I won't spoil why literally he has it but it's because of the emperor and his brother.
The past being the cold version and the recent being more human and less "traumatized"
He has instinctive movements like when he defended himself from the half hero that are actually survival instincts that were given because of his trauma.
If I remember someone said he'll recall those memories at some point.
