@Fk Nascimento Dawg you aren’t in a fantasy world, you're in real life. If you paid a second of attention in any of your history classes, you would see that slavery no matter what benefits it may come with always is a bad idea.
@perrophile I agree. But here I'm talking about a manga, my friend, not damn real life. Please don't bring real-life events into my idealized world of dreams and escapism from this s hitty reality, I'll cry lol. Of course, I know perfectly well that slavery in our world is total garbage, but I'm seeing and commenting from the point of view of a "fantasy world" where many of these slaves only have two options: either they die of hunger or they become slaves. Well, there are other riskier options, like stealing or something like that. But anyway, I hope my point has been understood
