@magrat in fictional work law and society rules can greatly differ from ours, so ML predatory behaviour (having s3x with mentaly unstable person, who is also working for him) in that world could be considered completely fine, in real world in most countries as per law and society rules would be not. And that's a fact, not only my opinion.
While I do agree that often times popular fictional works don't portray how complicated are real life relationships, there are works, who do. Besides green and red flag terms nowadays are often used to describe healthy/good and unhealthy/bad/toxic behaviour in real life too.
