The line of her injuries as shown being from the hyenas makes no sense - Her mother died to help her escape at 7, she's been on the run for the past 3 years, so did they catch and torture her during that time?
Also, as common as this goddamn plot is, am I the only one that thinks it's stupid that they're always fully dressed when they transform?

@Kazooie the lady said scars, her dad did beat her too sadly, it's why her mother ran away from them eventually. Think being dressed saves time in these plot types, wouldn't want to be in nothing suddenly in front of a crowd!
@Hex Scars yes, but the art made them look more like recent wounds/dirt. And the being dressed thing is so stupid, if you're going to magic up a dress from nothing, why a tattered and ripped one?
I like how Marvel/DC comics handle this, they specially made suits to handle their power or they just become naked, like Beast Boy, Hulk and Human Torch in comics.
It's a very easy thing to do.
@Kazooie omg yesss the only time they make them naked is for some low quality plot smūt scene that is generally poorly written , the least they could do since its already a fantasy story is like some sort of spell or magic item . As for the scars and injuries some of them might have been a result of her escaping and running away in the forest while the hyena were hurting her or something similar
@Kazooie It's obviously injuries while running away, the forest has really rough terrains, most of those injuries probably came from her climbing trees and falling

@IloveChevalGrand nah, there are a lot of ways to handle not actually showing nudity, Naruto did cloud/steam over parts, Magical Girl ones glow it off, Simpsons did conveniently placed objects like the frenchfry blocking Barts d*k and the mailboxes blocking Homer and Marge's, another shoujo I read did it with MC always detransforming under a blanket. Another one I read had the dude who transformed into a slime iirc and his servant always had clothes ready for him.
I think its very easy to pull off censorship.
