@Tsuchi he has said that's he's soft on kids. Maybe it revives some memory of how he was a child
@Tsuchi maybe the association with both him and Aaron. Aaron said that when he was a child actor, he had no choice; both of them abandoning thier dreams/hope of a bright future and autonomy. Both of their pains can be projected onto the kid. (Just my take on it)
