@Koko No?? If you ARE going to make a story in a specific timeline it needs to be done with proper research. It isn't even a matter of sensitivity, people who are having a problem with this are just people with basic sense. + Making a BL with a from an actual historical timeline that had HAPPENED is already bad enough at is it. It's basically fetishizing slavery FROM BACK THEN, irl— IN REAL LIFE. I think it wouldn't have mattered if this was a story portrayed in a FANTASY setting and not one that had happened historically. (But even then, the master/slave trope/role still remains problematic. Even more so when it's set in an era that had occured irl)
