@69time not always. It should be because if not, it is called shounen-ai, but not every yaoi is sm** at the same time ;)

@Maru yaoi is quite literally boys love with sm**, if a boys love has no sm** then it's shounen ai sometimes mangabuddy mixes the tags but the original manhwa (posted by the author and legal) would have a yaoi tag if it contained sm**.
