My guess is that the MC is the "real Fang Yeyin" why? At the lastest flashback, Fang Yeyin died when black haired guy survived I'm guessing that Zhang Qimeng cannot saved both of them or turned back into the time anymore thus sacrificing herself for his brother, Fang Yeyin.
Ps: Fang Yeyin was mentally ill because of the traumatic past memory but currently he has no memory of that past and only has the memory of the black haired guy. Idk if that makes sense lol.
