Mc is ML's brothers lover 
And ml also love mc no actually he was obsess with mc so he killed his brother and now making mc depend and think only of him so he can make him his lover

@MikaChuuuuu  pretty sure the one who died is MC's brother. it stated in the first few panels then it was shown they (MC and the one eho died aka his bro) slept together and ML saw it
