To be honest, with a lot of these LN and mangas, you can tell who the author intends to win. It's fairly obvious here he intends for childhood friend to win wich to be honest they don't usually win.  Just a look at what the title mean basically confirm that.

Don't get me wrong, I think that girl is annoying is rude but I see where he is going.

Also harem endings while fun are kinda dumb except for mangas that aren't serious in the first place like girlfriend girlfriend
