You know it's might seem weird but i was thinking about something kinda horrible, what if if the author letting you decide to interfere in the story ? Not like you choose what path to take for the mc but more like you kinda force yourself in the story and interfere with the characters.
Ok for some stories that have some horrible tragedy like in "metamorphosis" could be prevented and create a better path. But for this ? Would you really interfere with the story ? For what reason ? For your belief ? Your own satisfaction ? For the "greater good" ?
