@Shadow laws I think it's because baths are widely used as a form of physical therapy in Japan, due to most of the middle working class not having much time (or money) to do things like massages, walks, or even videogames, they resort to the healing properties of a warm bath that unkots the muscles and clears the head, I guess it's just a habit
