@T.kyuri Giyoon made a promise to someone when he was younger (implied to be the main ghost) to pretend that he doesn't see ghosts and that they will pretend to not know each other. Jumin, or a demon with Jumin's face, is controlling everything and has a goal in mind BEYOND making Giyoon pee his pants and seducing people.

This new demon REALLY doesn't like Giyoon or the human manager. In the next chapter he insults the human manager multiple times and tries to do something to Giyoon (I'm thinking the drowning represents either full-on possession or actually killing him). What the giraffe demon wants remains a mystery, but my best guess is that he wants to have "fun" AND add the number of ghosts he has underneath his control.
