Well at first they have a mutual relationship where they only used each other for their abilities, there's no deeper meaning into it. Despite his affection, hyunjae doesn't treat nor see yoojin as human being. It's more like "item and its owner" or "a pet and its master", if yoojin did good he will give him gifts and more affection but if yoojin behave bad he will punish him. Yoojin also act the same, he doesn't care about hyunjae except for his skills. He didn't care if hyunjae is on harm, as long as he can take advantage of the skills then yoojin will gladly play his role as an item..

But don't worry, their relationship will developed later where they become partners. Yoojin want to stand on the same level as hyunjae, not to be seen as someone below him. And hyunjae soon genuinely care for yoojin as a human, as his partner.. till the very end there are so many times they save each other and rely on each other

Yes they have a child together.. remember on previous chapters where yoojin plant diarma's magic stone in his chest? This magic stone will be combined with hyunjae's fragment (hyunjae's pre regression memory). So you can say that it's hyunjae and yoojin "biological" son 😅🤣 tho the son hate hyunjae very much.
