@Emuejevoke Mrakpor Long hair in the past was a symbol of loyalty or nobility for women particularly or those of the court. Cutting it off means you are renouncing your past beliefs.
If you go bald, it means you are forgoing all worldly desires and become a monk. Kinda different meaning there.
