Probably because, for this one and others atleast, we don't expect as much angst in a bad way like the main couple, like here we like the main couple but OH DO WE DREAD THE REVEAL IF IT HAPPENS, where as with van and Ian it's more "this is low key cute and I don't have to worry as much about my heart being ripped out"
