@Phew Phew Machine You are right, Although I am not fan of the system concept but you are actually right, it is what it is, so we just have to accept, on the other side the story actually has lot of potential.
@Phew Phew Machine may i ask wy you think that systems are overpowered?
plotarmor let him get "the right stuff in the right time", but thats the plotarmor, not the system. the plotarmor is the almigthy cheat, the system is mostly useless mc torture to amuse the readers, but mcs are mostly to stupid to notice it.
for 1 lvlup they need to kill countless creatures, do almost imposible tasks that they would not survive without the plotarmor, level up the system with what they earned trought hard work and loosing almost their live at several ocasions, buy stuff from the system overpriced, and more stuff.
the system was and is never a cheat. best example is the ppl the mc meets, frinds and foes. they lvl at almost the same speed as the mc, are mostly stronger than the mc, just that he has the plotarmor that gives him "the right stuff at the right time" to overpower them (foes)/ help them (frinds). but they dont have his system, so how do they that if a system is so good?
@Elle i for once thinks this system is reasonable it provides MC with guidance but it is up to him to progress farther
@pi the system if in a world with no one other than the MC who has the system is kinda op not because it gives the right stuff at the right time but because
First: you can know your own abilities through a status window showing you what you lack training in what you must progress and what skills you actively posses and even activate them on the behalf of the MC
Second: the system is a way of infinite growth the more you kill the stronger you become the stronger you become the stronger the foes you kill the stronger you become excetera
Third and final:this one is for systems that make you distribute status points to increase a certain attribute it is just op because you can make up for your shortcomings without the requiered training and even become an all rounder easily imagine in irl you level up and gain status points just the ability to increase your strength agility stamina in some cases luck which is game breaker same for charm and finally health mana or some special power is just op because it saves you time and effort for a regular dude he gotta train in various ways for a long time to increase ONE certain attribute but you can level up a lot of times in the time it takes him to train that certain attribute and you would become an all rounder with better strength than him
These are the reasons I think systems are op
@TouchMe bro, i know the pros and cons of systems. but no system is stronger than a plotarmor.
a system is good and makes a lot stuff more easy, but it is and would not make someone op, specialy not in cultivation/murim storys. the thing that ceeps the mc alive is the plotarmor.
as example, in murim and cultivation storys, yes you lvl hunderts of times faster than the athers, BUT YOU STILL NEED TIME. the system makes you not over night to an imba op cheat char, you have to do quests and lvl, and if you travel you meet trouble, if you are in a sect you still meet trouble. and in both choises its mostly from ppl who could fingersnappkill you if they wanted, but thanks to plotarmor, they dont do it but send weaker ppl after you till you are as strong/stronger than them.
