holding hands i think are normal for friends to do that i mean in America ofc but other places probably have a different point of view

@talkingtothemoon It's also common for two women to hold hands in Korea. But since they are drawn to one another, even seemingly insignificant and simple gestures such as holding hands or leaning on each other's shoulder could make them nervous.
@talkingtothemoon In conservative countries, friendships between people of the same gender are usually pretty tight, and the majority of people are too homophobic to even consider the possibility of two people of the same gender dating. Additionally, Koreans are also known for their skinships.
