so from what Im understanding iris is the actual demon lord reincarnation but wasn't the demon lord a guy so we got some gender bender??? but then she seems too dumb to remember being the demon lord but she also remembers about the name thing so Im confused

@Deadly She is the demon lord, she reincarnated as opposite s** (it happens -- see Tanya the Evil or whatever, there's a couple of other examples), and she's not dumb, she just doens't understand human society because she's the Maou.

@Deadly it's a reincarnation--nothing dictates you remain the same gender. Although most manga usually do remain the same gender. I mean for most who believe in reincarnation (IRL), they believe you might even be reincarneted as an animal (generally because...umm...did poorly in your previous life).
@Chrome dude a trap is a cross-dressing male pretending to be a girl to seduce straight men. Hence the "trap" slang, as in they are trapping or tricking the man. Well, I guess that was more the old school meaning. Now I think it pretty much means anyone who intentionally presents as one gender, but actually identifies as another.
