@EniYenny The thing is, that tone is essentially what she asked for when she asked to be treated as a mage and not a wife. This is literally how Riftan speaks to all his soldiers. Maxi doesn't get to pick and choose or be special when she openly requested to be regarded on the same level as his soldiers.
My only issue is the reason *why* he's doing it, as it's not out of an actual desire to comply with her request but out of spite and malicious compliance.
