Ok so after Mc gains his memories he was overloaded with information and needed time to process it. So, He left their home and never contacted Ido for the next three months. However, he was able to feel all the emotions and moods of ml because imprinted mates could feel each other no matter how far they were from each other. One person's emotions can influence their mate's emotions too.
For Example, During their time apart, mc could feel every time ml was angry or depressed.
