@yuii3 just to help you stop spreading misinformation, it's actually not illegal at to show girls kissing, the publishers just are less likely to carry your work if you do, and that for private publishers as well. Nothing to do with the government

@Su Da Ji It has to do with the government. I read Baili Jin Among Mortals, and the author clarified that the Chinese government heavily censors yuri content. In one of the chapters, they explained it isn't the author's or the studio's choice — it is mandatory censorship.
