Yup I also feel like whoever's behind this is just trying to use Marian as a cover to blame for all the incidents that occurred, sure she is no good and is annoying but she ain't THAT bad as to wanting to kill someone or more specifically Meridian and plus it keeps on happening INSIDE the imperial palace so shouldn't the people be more suspicious of the prince who's hosting the event other than anyone else? I mean a host should make sure that everyone enjoys the party and is safe. It's understandable if it happens once since it could be brushed off as yk an accident or lack of management but it keeps on occurring again and again and not on a different person but the same person each time which is Meridian. Atleast this should've raised some suspicion towards the person they called "crown prince". Or it could've just been that cousin. Since it can't be possible for the suspect to just magically prepare in advance KNOWING that Meridian would go there, sit there, or even stand there so it's very obvious that someone with magic is doing these things which is obvious since there were only two people at the ball that can use magic, Meridian and her so called cousin.
