He is living a life in the way he knows and he is good at it. Have a great life that you'll never have and you're bitter about it. 

Being a corporate lawyer is a career, it's a job. Hate on the client not on the lawyer because if you needed one you would also be begging for them to do as much as they could even morally questionable just to escape your predicament.

Nu uh, baby. It doesn't work that way. The system has rules, if you break them you are not "living your life the way you want yes sister slaaaay he is a baaaad boi and he hasss money and he is good at it". 

Being a corporate lawyer is a job, but being a corporate lawyer complicit in a fuc**** FELONY is not. I should know, since I've had to fuc**** endure one semester of corporate law and international contracts. I know what's fair practice and what should land you directly into the sweet embrace of Brian, your new jail cell mate. 

Threatening with blackmail a codefendant to show up to court is not "questionably moral", it's ILLEGAL. Defaming people online and mounting an harrassment campaign against someone to make them renounce their right to appealing the court is ILLEGAL. I'm not critiquing him for defending corporations (everybody has a right to legal counsel after all, even Satan. I know because I'm his lawyer), I'm denouncing him for being a fuc**** criminal. 

And I don't give a single single fu** about the client. The world is full of scumbags, after all, I cannot lose sleep after every single child Nestle killed in Africa or something. That's not the point. The point is: do you want to be an objectively bad person, by society's standard? Do you want to be an objectively bad lawyer, by the deontological standard? Yeah? Then good job buddy, but you don't get to act sanctimonious about it.

Hate the person who enables such a person to not only win their case but to push all their punishment onto another person and force them to get 2x times the punishment they actually deserve. These are the kind of people that enable criminals from getting away with murder, r*pe, abuse and more, don't try to justify his actions. Understand that they are wrong but keep your mind open to his character development

Nuh uh, I will continue reading this. And if I feel like it I will continue to shitpost about lawyer stuff. It is my god**** constitutional right to do so. Somewhere, it must be. Surely. I'd say France. It strikes me as a very cutting edge country when talking about law memes. One of their 83774 constitutions is bound to have an article like that.
