What if mr. Kang time traveled too? U know, when he find about Nokyoung suicide he was devastated. I don't think he kill yourself too, but maybe he had car accident or something. After this he woke up few years earlier and now he doing what he cant for saving Nakyoung? Not obviously but he support him and comfort him in hard time like this.
