I prefer this sworn brother over the Xie Yan that got betrayed... Everything Long said is all through.
The xie yan in this world is truly an idiot, how can you divulge such an information to someone else. No matter how you trust the person, they can betray you willingly or being controlled. His sworn brother(Long) that betrayed him reminds me of Gu Changge whenever he plots against a favored son of heaven. Unfortunately I'm sure the author will make this guy become stupid for the sake of plot (I hope not).
Also, is it really betrayal if the person never was loyal to you in the first place, afterall it was always their plan to figure out his secrets.

@Machlight It's definitely a betrayal as long as they pretended to be on your side, thats just the objective way to see it, to us the readers with what we know we may think otherwise but no matter how you look at it it's a betrayal

@Machlight the false pretense is a betrayal of trust, it's still betrayal. They waited and waited never revealing the adulterous ties between the sworn brother and the venomous bxtch, as it was implied that they only outed themselves after mc told the secret while bedding his "wife" whom he beleived that she loved him back. I like the flaw here, so the redemption would be better. As much as I hate this ntr bs, a story should have some up and downs, so when he comes on top it gives at least a bit of exhilaration or satisfaction.

Wait wait wtf, I'll retract my fckn opinion. This author nga literally showing cuckholdry visuals, I should've fully read it. I stopped to see cmnts, while was on the mc in the dungeon panel chained, hearing being stabbed by his own demon sword. I thought it was only implicated but the sworn mf is literally saying it, holy hell pepe sticker
