If you are in his POV, his hatred is understandable -- marrying your enemy's daughter. And the FL also looks like she only listens to her father (in his POV, of course).

FL feels nonchalant witn her situation but i guess theres more to it than just being an obedient daughter. Well i do hope they communicate well in next chapters
