Eclise handed her the final mirror piece. She now has finally collected the 15 pieces. She notices the magic wand of Penelope that he tries to hide. Clearly planning to give it back once everything was done. She tells him that she has the piece now, so why would she pay attention to Penelope. Though she smiled at him, the vigilant gaze did not go away. He tells her to keep her promise. She tells him she always keeps her promises to him unlike Penelope. She offers him the seat with the golden dragon beside her but he refuses and checks on the hostages. He warns not a single one of them can be touched let alone killed. She asks whether he is trying to be hated by Penelope and he warns her that he can even now still surrender to the prince. She agrees.

Someone calls out to Eclise and opens the door to the throne room. The Western gate has been breached and they will march soon for the Sun palace. Eclise asks about Penelope. The knight tells him he hasn't confirmed her palace yet. Eclise swears and begins to run. He stops beside the children and hands one of his knights the wand. He tells him to protect the hostages and the wand with his life. It must not be taken by anyway, even the Eckart princess. Emily's eyes fluttered as she eavesdropped on the conversation. Eclise left 4 knights to guard the hostages as he couldn't believe in Yvonne and took the rest with him. The room which was once full of guards was now empty. Marquis Ellen approached again to ask about the ritual. Yvonne stood tall and looked at the empty throne.. On the back of the chair that was a peculiar shape of red. If you pull and rotate the jade, a secret passage beneath the throne is opened. She lifted the orb from the emperor's body. The party has now begun.
Penelope has been confined to the room. Soldiers have been laid out at regular intervals along the palace walls. Soldiers were also the ones to deliver her meals. She can barely eat and can't sleep. She thought she wouldn't be surprised if she if she fainted but the potions worked very well. She thinks that Callisto must be worried. But hopes that he won't try rescuing her and focus on retaking the imperial palace. She hears a heavy noise coming from the fireplace. She picks up a candlestick wondering if Yvonne sent a monster.
Callisto curses as he coughs with the ash. He asks how she is. She thinks she's thrilled to see his face again. She asks what happened to the battle but he tells her there's no time so they need to go. She didn't expect to escape as soon as she arrived and wonders how to get back her wand so she can go hit Yvonne. Callisto tells her they're going to have to crawl through the passage. He looked at her and frowned asking if she didn't want to go in and told her that because he went in first, the passage has been dusted and the rats have been killed. She tries to say it's not like that but thinks that she is relieved. They crawled through the passage for awhile until it widens and then Callisto takes her by the arm and guides her until the passage brightens with luminous stone.
They reach a fork road but Callisto doesn't hesitate and tells her it's a passage only known to the royal family. Callisto insults the kidnappers. Of course there would be secret passages in the imperial palace. Thanks to that he could find her. She asks whether the second prince knew about the passage but he doesn't know about this one. This is the Empress' palace so the second prince and his mother have never been here before. She mentally calls Eclise crazy because he obviously locked her in the Empress' palace with a meaning.
