@Dfang these were not the consequences of his decisions, rather the results of active sabotage.

@Dfang it was stated earlier that players might have snuck into his raid and sabotage his attempt at defeating the final boss.

@degenx I know it's not his fault but it shows for better or worse the fall out of him failing that mission. If things would have been different and the mc was actually was successful, then those grieving parents could have at least cope with the death of children as heroes. 

I just like how the manhwa handling the topic so far and showing how real it is.
