It might be an unpopular opinion but I really, really don't want the Crown Prince to be the male lead. I don't like him at all.

All we have seen from him so far is how he can atone for how HE feels has done wrong; he doesn't even try to make amends by himself and once again the mc has to sort out everything because he's utterly unable to think for himself. He's lucky she doesn't have an ounce of scorn in her because he needs to grovel. Also, he only acts that way because he loves her; he doesn't even try to spare any thought to Keigetsu, why she was like that, what has driven her to such behavior. He only spares attempts at understanding and mercy to those he holds personal, positive feelings for. Anyone else can just be dealt with as a spare thought. During the entire chapter, the mc has to deescalate the situation because that guy has big feelings that he expects her to soothe, it's all about HIS guilt, and I am fed up with having to once again a man who expects his loved one to cater to his feelings without making a single effort on his part.

So no, I don't want him to be the male lead. He doesn't deserve it (also the cousin thing disgusts me even though I know it was common).
