@Duke Pendragon  so basically, our main girl spent the later part of her life pretending to be some noble lady (the red haired girl at the start of the chapter) and she was told that she would no longer have to pretend to be the noble lady. So while she was leaving, she was attacked and stabbed. Luckily, she had a  potion on hand which would return her back in time but she was scammed and all the potion did was turn her body back to 10 years ago. Obviously, she didnt expect that but just had to deal with it because what else can she do?? so she takes up the fake name karuna and starts living as a regular girl until she encounters the black haired guy (our male lead) whom she used to have beef with back when she was still pretending to be a noble lady. The male lead was in the form of a huge wolf and apparently, theyre companions. I believe companions basically means soul mates. And since she's the male lead's soul mate, she cant leave the duke's mansion now. hope this helps :P.
