Quick question: why some readers say "this goes against this character personality" to feel better about liking a character? No, it does not go against a character, the writer made it this way to fool you and make it explode in your pretty face, it is not against his pure personality, it was always meant to be, it is who the writer always had in mind for that character. I hate it when readers say writer messed this character to make the other guy look better. NO, this is how this character was always meant to be in the writer's mind, that is what makes the story great, the plot twist, this is his real personality not the fake one you read in the first 100 chapters, and that makes the story great. It is great in movies, everyone can see the real side of the character, so why do BL readers refuse to see the real face of these characters and say it goes against their personality? pepe sticker

Im not even a BL reader but that's just bad writing lol

Imagine Aizen from Bleach being a good guy all along or even L from Death Note being revealed as a villain.

That's just stupid. There should be buildup in every plotpoint of the story. It should not just be a complete switchup from their real personality.

It's not called plot twist. It's called inconsistent writing.
